Reaction Biology Corporation (RBC), is a private Malvern PA - based pharmaceutical research company. We provide contract research services to over 1500 clients worldwide, through our labs in Malvern PA and our ProQinase subsidiary in Freiburg Germany. At just under 100 employees, we are small and growing fast. We are seeking a financial controller to implement and manage our accounting systems.

RBC is seeking a Controller
Responsibilities include:

  • • Supervise and assist in preparation of financial statements.
  • • Prepare annual budgets and interim reports against budget.
  • • Implement new and improve existing reporting systems to measure cost allocations, profitability, and productivity.
  • • Supervise outside accounting firms for preparation of audited financials and tax returns.
  • • Recommend and implement financial software and systems.
  • • Collaborate with operational managers to improve reporting processes and systems.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • • At least five years’ experience as a financial controller or accounting manager;
  • • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics or business administration;
  • • Deep familiarity with accounting software packages;
  • • Strong Microsoft Office skills;
  • • Collaborative and proactive attitude with excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • • Flexibility to accommodate to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic team-based environment.

Job Type: Full-time, flexible hours, partial work at home available. Occasional travel will be required, including to European site.
